The site has hosted the adventures of over 40,000 Scouts, and it is estimated that over 200,000 Scouts’ nights away have been spent at the site.
The site is used as a training centre for Adults in Scouting locally as well as a base for Scouts’ adventures. and also by other groups including Mountain Rescue, Army Cadets and Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Participants.

Scout Groups from all over Conwy District will be organising their own fund raising activities in support of this appeal, details of which will be listed at conwyscouts.org.uk as they are announced, and the District are appealing directly to anyone who can help, in any way, to contact then via the website.
