The 5th Colwyn Bay Scout Group’s AGM was attended by a packed hall of parents and members of the local community.

The evening began with the formal meeting in which Leader, Chris Perkins took up the role of Group Secretary and a parent took on the role of Treasurer, to work with the Group Executive committee.

Once the formalities were over, the Cubs entertained the audience with their hilarious take on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, and the Scout Troop gave their review of the last 9 months’ Scouting, complete with actions.

Overall, the evening demonstrated to Parents, Scouts and their Leaders that the adventure of Scouting is very much alive and Scouting in Rhos-on-Sea is clearly on the up.
