I’ve been out this afternoon at a meeting with Gwen Thirsk from the Conwy Council’s Children and Young People’s partnership. Our meeting was mainly about the fact that I will now be representing the entire voluntary sector in Conwy on the Conwy Youth Council and in Funky Dragon, Wales’s Youth Assembly.

From now on, I’ll attend meetings with the Conwy Youth Council and residential meetings with the Funky Dragon ‘Grand Council’, and work with our members and those in other voluntary organisations in Conwy to ensure that their views are expressed appropriately.

I don’t quite know where this is going to lead, however it will be very interesting to see, I’ve got my first meeting with the Youth Council next week and I’ll be blogging about it soon!
