The Conwy Scout District is managed by a team of adult volunteers with a range of skills and interests, from a variety of backgrounds.

The District Team
The District Team consists of the District Commissioner, the District’s most senior volunteer, and a team of assistant District Commissioners, each with their own specialist area for example specific programme areas, development, special needs and activities.

The District’s responsibility for Explorer Scouts means that the team responsible for Conwy’s Explorer Scout provision are also part of the District Team.

The District Executive Committee
The District Executive Committee consists of the District Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer, and a number of District Team members. They meet regularly and are responsible for finance, insurance and adult recruitment in the District.

There is an appointments sub-committee from the District Executive Committee, which is responsible for ensuring that every adult volunteer in Scouting is in a role that will suit them.
